Exon 3 was replaced with a self-excising PGK-neo cassette. The deletion of exon 3 putatively results in an aberrant open reading frame caused by the fusion of exons 2 and 4. Using a C-terminal mAb, protein was undetected by Western blot analysis of homozygous mutant mice. (J:85158)
