220 bp encompassing exons 26 and 27 were replaced with a floxed neo-ura cassette. While RT-PCR analysis of homozygous mutant mice showed transcript lacking the targeted exons, neither normal or mutant protein arising from the detected transcript was detected by Western blot analysis. (J:84892)
