This allele was generated from Slc27a4tm1Wsr by crossing mutant mice with mice transgenic for PGK-Cre. This resulted in the excision of exon 3 as a result of the ubiquitously expressed Cre activity. Northern blot and Western blot analyses demonstrated the absence of transcripts and protein products. (J:84096)
