A gene trap vector consisting of LTR sites flanking a beta-geo cassette containing a splice acceptor and a PGK-btk cassette containing a splice donor integrated into an exon specific for the A isoform. Northern and Western blot analyses of brain and lung tissue indicated an absence of transcript and protein corrsponding to isoforms A and B. (J:83193)
