The gene was disrupted by replacement of exons 4-9 with a neomycin resistance cassette in the opposite orientation. The targeted mutation results in deletion of amino acids 66-330. Absence of gene expression in homozygous mutant E9.5 embryos was confirmed by Western blot analysis. (J:81580)
