Four point point mutations were inserted into the imprinting control region (ICR) upstream of the H19 transcription start site. The mutations were introduced at the Ctcf binding sites within the ICR. Single loxP sites were left flanking the ICR. RNase protection assays showed reduced levels of transcript in various tissues obtained from heterozygous females. (J:81888)
