The gene was disrupted by replacement of exons 7 and 8 with a neomycin resistance cassette via homologous recombination, resulting in deletion of the nuclear receptor box and transactivation domain. Absence of gene expression was verified by RT-PCR analysis of fibroblasts derived from homozygous mutant embryos. (J:81818)
