The transgene consists of a 3.3 kb Pax6 enhancer sequence, a cre recombinase gene, IRES sequence, and a human ALPP cDNA. The Pax6 enhancer was used to drive transgene expression in retinal and pancreatic primordial cells during early embryonic development. (J:81626)
