A floxed PGK-neo cassette was inserted into intron 1 by homologous recombination. Transcript was undetected by Northern blot analysis of homozygous mutant liver tissue. The rescue of the allele was demonstrated by tissue-specific expression of cre. Northern blot analysis verified the presence of transcript in the livers of in rescued mice. (J:81639)
