Hprt1^{tm1(ACTB-Epor)Unc}

A targeting construct containing human beta actin promoter sequence adjoined to a cDNA fragment encoding a truncated erythropoietin receptor lacking 91 carboxy terminal amino acids was inserted at the endogenous locus via homologous recombination. An Hprt rescue technique using E14TG2a ES cells was used for selection to achieve a single copy insertion. (J:81859)
