3 exons were flanked by a 5' floxed neo cassette and a 3' single loxP site. The most 3' exon in the floxed region encodes the membrane anchor of the receptor. Western blot analysis of kidney tissue obtained from homozygous mutant mice indicated that a protein product was produced by the floxed allele. (J:81496)
