A human BCL2 gene under regulatory control of Eno2 was used for the transgene. Transgene expression was verified by Western blot analysis. Immunohistochemistry showed that transgene expression was restricted to neurons. The Eno2 promoter was used to target transgene expression to neurons. The Eno2 promoter is active as early as embryonic day E10. (J:26571, J:40682)
