The transgene consists of a duplicated Igh enhancer (Emu), the Pim1 gene, and a mouse Moloney leukemia virus LTR. Transgene expression was confirmed by Northern and Western blot analysis. High expression of Pim1 mRNA was observed in the thymus, bone marrow, and spleen, but not in testis. Pim1 protein expression is observed in both B and T lymphocytes. (J:79624)
