A 900 kb human TGFA cDNA directed by a rat Prl promoter was used for the transgene. A 3 kb rat Prl promoter was used to drive transgene expression in in the pituitary lactotroph cells. Transgene expression was confirmed by Northern blot and immunofluorescence analysis of pituitary glands from transgenic animals. (J:80651)
