A single loxP site was left in place of region 12 between Evx2 and Hoxd13 after the floxed neo cassette was excised from Evx2/Hoxd13tm3Ddu via in vivo cre mediated recombination. Expression analysis of Hoxd genes indicated that deletion of region 12 was insufficient to affect Hoxd expression unless coupled with a deletion of regions 11 and 10. (J:80084)
