An allele encoding isoforms a and b, but not the heart- and lung-specific c isoform, was generated by in vivo cre mediated excision of a floxed neo cassette from Pitx2tm3Jfm. The resultant allele contained a single loxP site in place of the c isoform-specific exon 4. (J:79853)
