The gene was flanked with a loxP site and a floxed neo-TK cassette via homologous recombination. The neo-TK cassette was removed in correctly targeted ES cells by transient expression of cre recombinase. The resulting mutation consists of Jun flanked by single loxP sites. (J:75863)
