Hoxa11^{tm2.1(Hoxa13)Ssp}

This allele is a derivative of Hoxa11tm2Ssp whereby mutant animals were bred to a cre-expressing line to remove the floxed neo cassette in the 3' region of the gene, leaving behind a single loxP site and the homeodomain substitution in exon 2. Deletion of the neo cassette restores gene function. (J:71402)
