The gene was disrupted by insertion (knock-in) of a GFP-neo cassette into the coding sequence. RT-PCR analysis of bone marrow RNA confirmed the absence of Rag1 gene expression in homozygous mutant animals. Instead the mutant animals produced GFP transcripts. (J:79416)
