The mouse Nr4a1 cDNA fused to a mouse Lck proximal promoter was used as the transgene. Northern and Western blot analyses of thymus and thymocytes showed that RNA and protein expression is significantly increased in transgenic animals. Nuclear extracts from transgenic thymocytes also showed stronger DNA-binding activity compared to wild-type. (J:78762)
