A neomycin selection cassette was inserted into exon 5, into sequences encoding the BZIP domain. Northern blot analysis demonstrated that an aberrant transcript was expressed from this allele. However, immunoprecipitation experiments confirmed that no detectable protein was made. (J:47440)
