A floxed neo cassette was inserted into intron 1 via homologous recombination. The 5' and 3' arms of homology were modified to contain two missense mutations affecting conserved cysteine residues in both exons 1 and 2, which encode the LIM domains essential for zinc-finger structure. (J:63192)
