A point mutation was introduced via homologous recombination altering the DFG motif in the C-terminal kinase domain to AFG, and a myc tag and floxed -neo-lacZ cassette were inserted after the stop codon. Southern blot confirmed the presence of the mutation in chimeric animals. (J:78412)
