A PGK-neo-poly(A) cassette was inserted at the NcoI site located in the first coding exon. This insertion disrupted the coding sequence after amino acid 247, predicting to result in premature termination of the encoded protein. RT-PCR analysis on RNA derived from E9.5 homozygous embryos demonstrated that no detectable transcript was expressed from this allele. (J:74096)
