Animals heterozygous for Ppargtm1Gonz were crossed to an EIIa-cre transgenic line to delete the floxed PGK-neo cassette. The deletion event leaves behind single loxP sites flanking exon 2. Southern blot analysis confirmed the removal of PGK-neo in offspring. (J:75777)
