2.3 kb of sequence spanning exon 1 was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. Western blot analysis of homozygous mutant mice showed an absence of the 3 isoforms produced from the endogenous locus as well as a lack of aberrantly truncated proteins. (J:49141)
