A floxed neomycin resistance cassette was inserted downstream of the Ppyr1 gene and a third loxP site was introduced into intron 1 via homologous recombination. The mutant allele was confirmed by Southern blot analysis of targeted ES cells using a probe to the Ppyr1 coding region. (J:76479)
