The last four exons were replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. Transcript was undetected in homozygous mutant mice via Northern blot analysis of various tissues. The absence of protein in homozygous mutant mice was demonstrated by Western blot analysis of various tissues and immunohistochemical staining of the testes. (J:72188, J:78058)
