The full mouse Prph1 sequence starting 23 nucleotides upstream from the translation initiation site and ending 2.5 kb downstream of the polyadenylation signal was used for the transgene. Regulatory sequences from human THY1, which include the THY1 promoter and noncoding exons 1 and 2, were used to drive expression of the transgene. (J:58388)
