The gene was disrupted by replacement of exon 2 with a neomycin resistance cassette resulting in the deletion of the DNA-binding homeodomain. Immunostaining of E9.5 embryos with antibodies directed against the N-terminus of the protein did not detect protein product. (J:32017)
