A neomycin selection cassette replaced coding sequence corresponding to base pairs 730 through 1479 in the cDNA sequence. RT-PCR followed by Southern blot analysis, using the complete cDNA as a probe, confirmed a lack of transcript in homozygous mutant mice. (J:54241)
