Exon 2, which encodes most of the protein, was replaced with a neomycin selection cassette. RT-PCR and Northern blot analyses of homozygous mutant mice indicated an absence of normal transcript. Aberrant transcripts were reported. Normal levels of Cd3e and Cd3g transcript were detected. (J:39925)
