A neomycin resistance cassette replaced a fragment of exon 3 containing most of the coding region of the gene. Northern blot analysis on RNA derived from E17 hemizygous male embryos or adult hemizygous male brain demonstrated that no transcript was expressed from this allele. (J:29457)
