This heritable allele is a derivative of Gria2tm2Rsp in which the loxP flanked neomycin selection cassette was removed in the germline by crossing mice carrying this allele to mice carrying the Tg(CMV-Cre)1Cgn transgene, leaving a single loxP site in place of the neomycin cassette. (J:51845)
