A PGK-neomycin resistance cassette replaced sequences encoding amino acids 134-294, which comprise the nuclear localization signal, cyclin A binding, DNA binding, and the leucine zipper domains, and introduced an in-frame termination codon just upstream of the cassette. Western blot analysis did not detect protein in MEF cells derived from homozygous mutant embryos. (J:65128)
