This hypomorphic allele was generated by the insertion of a loxP flanked neomycin resistance cassette 5' to exon 1 in the promoter and a single loxP site 3' to exon 2. RT-PCR experiments demonstrated a down-regulation in transcript expression in gonads. (J:63161)
