The gene was disrupted using neomycin resistance cassette. The vector replaced a major part of the coding region of exon 7, predicted to affect the C- terminal zinc finger involved in activation, dimerization and other protein interactions. Protein was not detected in homozygous mutant animals by immunohistochemical or Western analysis. (J:37317)
