A floxed neomycin and thymidine kinase expression cassette were inserted 3' to exon 2, and a single loxP site was inserted 5' of exon 2. Cre-mediated recombination in ES cells removed the neo and tk sequences, leaving a single loxP site 3' to exon 2. (J:73084)
