A neomycin selection cassette replaced exon 3, corresponding to nucleotides 217-880 of the encoded transcript. Immunohistochemical analysis on E8.5 embryos demonstrated that the encoded protein was not detectable in rhomdomeres of homozygous mice. (J:50573)
