A transgene containing a mutant form of human TGFB1 expressed under the control of a mouse alpha-cardiac myosin heavy chain promoter inserted into an unidentified locus in this line. Other transgenic lines generated using this construct did not correlate with the associated mutant phenotype of mice bearing the transgene in this line, suggesting that the transgene insertion was a mutational event.
