A neomycin resistance cassette replaced 2.3 kb of sequence containing an exon that encodes amino acids 246-297 of the protein. Western blot analysis of whole brain and of cerebellar membrane fractions did not detect any protein produced from this allele in homozygous mice. (J:44598)
