A PGK-neomycin resistance cassette replaced 0.6kb of sequence containing exon 13 and part of intron 13. Northern blot analysis using a cDNA probe for the active site region, exons 14 - 20, did not detect message in renal tissue from homozygous mutant pups. (J:70516)
