A neomycin resistance cassette replaced parts of exons 2 and 3. Radioimmunoassay of HPLC fractionated whole brain extracts did not detect protein in homozygous mutant mice. Immunohistochemistry detected almost no immunoreactivity in brain of homozygous mutant mice. (J:46179)
