A Pdgfa cDNA was inserted between a SacI site and a KpnI site in the 5'UTR of the Myf5 gene. An adjacent loxP-flanked neomycin cassette was retained in this allele. Alteration in the expression pattern of Pdgfa was noted in homozygous mutant embryos as assayed by in situ hybridization. (J:65301)
