A neomycin resistance cassette replaced exon 1 of the gene. Northern blots of total RNA isolated from the middle small intestine of homozygous mutant mice showed no detectable transcript of the targeted gene when probed with an exon 1 probe. This line was established simultaneously with Gpx2tm2Coh. (J:63988)
