A neomycin resistance cassette replaced a genomic fragment containing exons 10 and 11. Western blot analysis on spleen and thymus extracts of homozygous mice demonstrated that a mutant protein that lacked cut domain 1, but retains DNA binding activity, was produced from this allele. (J:49157)
