A PGK-neo cassette replaced the transcription site, the entire Thrb2-specific exon, and the splice donor acceptor site. RT-PCR analysis of pituitary RNA confirmed the preservation of the Thrb1 isoform, as well as the absence of the Thrb2 isoform. (J:56668)
