Deletion of exon 2 encoding the paired box domain followed by the insertion of a LacZ reporter gene containing the 3'splice site of Pax5 exon 2. This allele is a derivative of Pax2tm2Mbu created by cre-mediated deletion of a Pax5 cDNA which had been inserted into the Pax2 locus. (J:63683)
