A lacZ neomycin cassette disrupted the exon encoding the seven-transmembrane-helix domain. Immunoblots of membrane preparations of cerebella from homozygous mutant mice showed no detectable native protein using antibodies against the C-terminal and N-terminal parts of the protein. (J:21644)
