A chimeric animal derived from ES cells that were infected with a MPSVmos-1 Neo retroviral vector was shown to have a insertional mutation event in the first intron of the gene. Northern blot analysis on homozygous cell lines confirmed that the mutation interfered with the normal transcription of this gene. (J:19211, J:161059)
